So here we are, finally at the end of the course. And what better way to end a course than to talk about Powerpoint. Powerpoint is important to learn because we will use it for the remainder of our college experience and outside of college- if we plan to work in corporate America. Learning powerpoint etiquite will help us understand how to reach our audience and do a presentation successfully. Our instructor provided us with material of the do's and dont's of powerpoint. This information was very helpful so I will share a few points that I found very helpful to me ( although they all are helpful):
-Keep it simple: make sure there isnt too much going on in one slide. Be tasteful when it comes to graphics, animation, and font. You want to make sure that your presentation is clear and understandable.
-Minimize slides: dont overwhelm your audience with a million and one slides of information. 10 slides is good enough and try to keep atleast three bullets of inforation on a slide.
-Use key phrases: this will help you limit information on your slides. This means you have to know your information.
-And lastly, what many people seem to take for granted, make sure your presentation can run on any computer. You dont want to just assume so check the program you will be using before hand ( if possible).
I hope that this information is as helpful to you as it is for me. Take care everyone and be blessed!

I first would like to say how you definitely have a knack for writing blogs! This year will be my first time writing a blog, and I feel that I could learn a lot from how you write your blogs. Your acronym is amazing. I love it, and it is a great attitude to have. This semester, it seems as if we have to hit the ground running, but it looks that we are going to learn so much. I totally understand what you mean when you say "technology alien." Don't worry! You are definitely not alone. I am here trying to figure out all this technology as well. I love the comic you posted. It does seem that students today thrive off of using technology, and as future teachers, we will have to be able to adapt to the rapid changes that occur with technology. I know we can do it. This class looks like it will help give us some practice with using technology. I look forward to working with you this semester!
